Collets

Your WoodWrite, Ltd. mini-lathe is equipped with a 1/4" (6.4mm) collet to secure all of the WoodWrite, Ltd. mandrels. To accommodate other sizes of rod stock or cylindrical material, the collet set includes a collet closer nut and the following collet sizes: 1/8" (3.2mm), 5/32" (4.0mm), 3/16" (3.8mm), 7/32" (5.6mm), 1/4" (6.4mm), 9/32" (7.1mm), 5/16" (7.9mm). A blank (undrilled) collet is also included for custom drilling.

Chucks

KT-0301 Four Jaw Chuck / KT-5201 Three Jaw Chuck Chucks are used to hold solid objects on the lathe, when threading onto a mandrel is not appropriate. Both chucks are 3-1/4" (83mm) in diameter and fit the threaded (3/4" - 16) end of the bearing assembly.
