One of the advantages of building each of our lathes individually from the ground up (no assembly lines here!), is that we are able to form a working relationship with each customer to meet any special requirements they may have.

Adaptive Technology

The original WoodWrite,Ltd. mini-lathes were designed specifically for use by the Maryland Chapter of Disabled American Veterans.  We are experts at making design modifications to assist our customers with limited physical mobility to enjoy wood turning, and proud to share in their accomplishments.

Custom Lengths

Want to turn golf club shafts, pool cues, or extra long spindles?  Our engineers have developed technology to overcome the stability problems inherent in an extra long mini-lathe.  We welcome the opportunity to work with you to build exactly what you require up to 48" between centers.

Increased Swing

The swing of any WoodWrite, Ltd. lathe may be increased up to 4.125".
