From the United States and Canada.
Color ranges from light tan to pale yellow brown, and may have a pinkish tinge. The
grain is open and the texture is medium to coarse.
Common uses include flooring, exterior trim & siding, furniture components,
interior construction and trim, paneling, railroad ties, shakes, shingles and cabinets.
Specific Gravity is .71 (dense). Very good turning characteristics.
